Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral disease that has rapidly spread to all regions of the world in recent years.  The incidence of dengue has grown dramatically with outbreaks occurring in many countries of the world in the Americas, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Pacific Islands and Australia.
